The only private guest suite available at Plas Robin, Robin’s Nest is the most intimate and cosy of our luxury retreats. Perfect for couples or solo travellers seeking a peaceful escape in the beauty of the Welsh countryside – Robin’s Nest is surrounded by uninterrupted panoramic views of the Severn Valley.

A generous and spacious Suite, the nest blends rustic charm with modern comfort in a beautiful farmhouse aesthetic. Robin’s Nest is connected to the Plas Robin farmhouse, but comes with its own private staircase and entrance. Hosting a super king-size double bed, comfy sofa, classic reading chair, walk-in dressing room space and a contemporary en-suite bathroom with luxurious stand-alone bath and walk-in, multi-jet shower.

A complimentary Welsh afternoon tea is offered to all Robin’s Nest guests on their arrival, with a full Welsh breakfast available as an optional extra.

The spacious retreat starts with a combined open living and bedroom space that is well-lit by floor-to-ceiling glazed gable windows that offer uninterrupted, panoramic views across the Severn Valley,

You can soak in the scenery outside with the bistro set on your private balcony, or from the comfort of indoors – with your choice of sinking into the super-king-size bed, cosy sofa or traditional reading chair. And of course, Plas Robin robes and slippers are provided for your comfort also.

Let nature provide tranquil entertainment, or as a peaceful backdrop whilst you browse the collection of books and magazines available.

For the evenings, the smart TV includes all of the most popular streaming apps like Netflix, Prime and Disney ready for you to jump back into your latest series from the comfort of your bed.

Sleeping & Bathing

The Robin’s Nest has been carefully designed to create a luxurious sanctuary in the Welsh countryside. The super-king-size bed is dressed in the finest bed linen and soft to the touch – helping you to rest and recharge your body and mind.

From the bedroom, step into a spacious and well-appointed dressing room that features fitted wardrobes, a full-length mirror, and a dressing table.

This carries you through to the adjoining en-suite bathroom where you can take a moment to indulge in this spa-like space to refresh after a day of exploring.

The bathroom space features an elegant standalone bath for long soaks, a beautifully tiled walk-in rainfall shower for a rejuvenating experience, next to a stylish basin mirror unit and a WC.

Eating & Dining

Within the Robin’s Nest private suite, there is a kettle, a Nespresso coffee machine, and a mini fridge – stocked with organic milk from our local dairy as well as complimentary mineral water, Heartsease naturally sparkling drinks, biscuits and treats.

A complimentary Welsh afternoon tea is offered to our guests on their arrival and a full Welsh breakfast is available in Plas Robin farmhouse, as an optional extra.

Utilities

Robin’s Nest offers a range of in-room amenities to ensure an independent and peaceful retreat. Stock up the mini fridge (which already includes Daisy Bank Dairy milk, Welsh mineral water and Heartsease naturally sparkling drinks) with your favourite snacks and treats to enjoy alongside a freshly brewed coffee from the Nespresso machine.

If you wish to stay connected to the outside world, high-speed WiFi is available for you to check in with loved ones, or even work remotely.

Outdoor Space

Step outside, directly onto your own private balcony with bistro seating and outdoor plants, and take in the wonderful panoramic views of the valley beyond. Guests are also warmly invited to explore the 35-acre Plas Robin estate at their leisure.

Start your day by collecting fresh eggs from our hens for breakfast, or wander through the natural wildflower meadows, thoughtfully preserved to encourage sustainable ecosystems and local wildlife.
